Stephen Ministries

Stephen Ministry is Christ caring for people through people. The Stephen Series, based in St. Louis, MO, is a complete system for training and organizing lay people to provide one-to-one Christian care to hurting people. Stephen Ministers listen, pray, encourage, care, visit faithfully and bring Christ’s love and care to individuals experiencing difficulties in their lives.
If you would like more information on becoming a Stephen Minister or know someone who could benefit from having a SM caregiver, please call Barb Rudick, Stephen Leaders.

Care Ministry

The purpose of this ministry is to reach out with the love of Jesus by providing meal baskets to our members. We gather every couple of months to make and freeze soup. The soup and other goodies are placed in a basket. Meals are then delivered to people after the death of an immediate family member or after hospitalization or during an extended illness/recovery period. We also make and deliver baskets to shut-ins. We make baskets at Thanksgiving and Easter for families in our church and school needing an extra blessing. Small loaves of bread are delivered during caroling at Christmas. Funding for this ministry is provided by quarterly fellowship luncheons. For information please contact Barb Rudick in the church office.

Trinity Titans – Prayer Ministry

Jesus himself prayed an set an example for us. Prayer is our response to God’s invitation to come to Him. The Trinity Titans form a prayer chain committed to daily prayer. Confidentiality is maintained. If you have prayer requests, please call Pastor Lassanske, 231-755-6226 or the church office, 231-755-1292 ext5-3. If you would like to be a Trinity Titan, please call Jan in the church office.

Monthly Miracle Drive

Part of Trinity’s mission is to touch people’s lives with the love of Christ. Our monthly miracle drives gives us an opportunity to reach out beyond our facility. Various agencies in and around the Muskegon area have benefited from our collections of non-perishable goods, paper products, school supplies, and other needed items.

National Day of Prayer

People loved by the Lord, God’sWord instructs us to pray for everyone, and especially for those who govern. Let us offer our thanksgiving and petitions on this National Day of Prayer to the Father of all mercy.  Heavenly Father, we give thanks for this country, for the rich resources with which You have blessed it, for its heritage of freedom, and for the charity of its citizens in times of need. Help us to use those resources wisely, to nurture and further that heritage of freedom, and to continue to find ways to be a blessing to other nations of the earth. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayer.

Ruler of all, remember in Your kindness our President, those who serve in our Congress, and all our justices and judges, together with all those who hold other offices of public trust in our land. Preserve them in health, and grant them to serve faithfully, wisely, and courageously. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayer.

Lord of might, to Your gracious care we commend all who serve in our armed forces.May Your protecting hand rest upon them.We ask You to strengthen and uphold them in every good deed. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayer.

Lord of life, we confess that our public life has at many times deviated from Your holy will. Forgive us, Lord. Have mercy on us, and give us as a people the grace of repentance that we might come to cherish every human life from conception to natural death as a priceless gift to be nurtured and preserved. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayer.

Creator of the human race, You have given to all people a common ancestry, and yet we have fostered divisions among ourselves. Destroy in us all hatred and prejudice, and help us to see in every human life a unique being, redeemed by Christ and intended for Your kingdom. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayer.

Bountiful Giver of every good, remember those who have been disinherited in our nation, those who are trapped in cycles of poverty and unwholesome environments. Help all of us to share these burdens and find ways to transform impoverished neighborhoods that all may join in blessing You for Your rich bounty in this good land. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayer.

Lover of the human race, remember all in our country who struggle with illness and disease. Give to them Your comfort, and help them to look for final healing in Your Son’s hands. Strengthen the work of all who serve in health care, and bless their service to the sick and dying. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayer.

Father of the Risen Lord, we pray for all who have no right knowledge of You in this land, for all who are outside the life of Your Church. Send forth Your powerfulWord to call them home, and grant Your people the grace to welcome them joyfully into Your Kingdom of forgiveness. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayer.

Lord of the future, we know not what tomorrow will bring, but we know that You will meet us there. Take away all fear from Your people in this land, and grant us to walk forward with joy and confidence in Your unfailing love. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayer.

Into Your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in Your mercy; through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
